In a regular grip sock your foot slides around inside and the sock twists off the arch. Double-Lock adds silicone on the inside of the sole as well, so your foot stays locked in on the footbar, in lunges and up on your toes.

The questions we get asked
What size are barna flow grip socks?
One size fits all. They're a snug stretch fit that adapts to your foot, hugging the arch and heel so they stay in place through class.
Why does my foot slide around in my grip socks?
Because most grip socks only grip the floor. The silicone on the sole keeps the sock planted, but nothing holds your foot inside it, so on the footbar, in lunges or up on your toes your foot slides and the sock twists off the arch. Our Double-Lock™ Grip socks have silicone on both sides of the sole, in a triangle shape: the floor grip locks the sock down, and the inner grip locks your foot in.
Will the grip wear off after a few washes?
It's the usual story with grip socks: a few months of washing and the grip starts to lift. Ours is silicone, rated for 150+ washes without peeling or fading, and stays stable through every spring setting on the reformer.
How do you wash grip socks?
Turn them inside out and wash in cold water. Don't bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean them.
